I just finished an installation of a DSX 40 system with voicemail and 10 DSX 22 Button sets. One of the sets is set up in the vice president's office and has attached to it a Plantronics headset with a blue tooth ear piece that when invoked will raise the handset from the cradle and when toggled will release the handset to its idle position. The problem is, with the design of the handset, it typically falls from the cradle and stays off hook until manually returned to its idle position. The previously installed phone (Samsung DCS Compact 12 Button LCD set) worked fine with it. This customer is a PITA and thanks I should do more to help resolve this matter. I found an easy solution, but he obviously doesn't care for it. I taped the bottom of the handset to the phone base and that solved it for me but he didn't like it. Any suggestions. This guy has been more trouble than it's worth. But the die is cast. Any help would be appreciated. :bang:

I have had them work. There is a lever on the side of the lifter, Make sure it does not lift the handset too much. Also try changing the Height/Angle of the phone.

We use them all the time. It's just an adjustment issue with where you stick the lifter and how high
it's set to lift.

Put a small piece of Velcro on the lifter arm and on the handset. Make sure that is is the cheap, weak type.
