Does anyone know how to get rid of the message indicator light when there are no messages left in the system?

It could be a message light from the system feature. look for the feature code in command 20 to turn off light

you can TRY having the station dial Feature + 99 + Feature.

might not work.

what system is the AD-40 on? You may have a 'message' from another extension sent to that phone, not a voicemail
