Our 7-year old VMS finally gave up its ghost the other day and now we're suffering from auto-attendant withdrawal.
The HD was clicking and having trouble cycling and spinning up, so that's why I'm fairly confident that it's the HD.
Looking for options, and I was wondering if I could get some suggestions:
1) Replace HD. Got a quote of XXXX. Is this reasonable?
2) Replace Card + HDrive, just in case it's not the HD that's dead. eBay auction now at around XXXX for a card with what looks like a NEC HD.
3) Should I look at FMS systems? Why are they so expensive with so little memory? Are there any versions with a 4 GB CF Card on it? The HDs are only 2 GB anyhow...
In the meanwhile, I'm looking for prices and equipment to replace this -ASAP-
Please feel free to PM/Email Me!
Thanks,
Kane.

CF cards are the future, and to me hell alot more reliable and yes memory on them has grown leaps and bounds. Our one customer purchase 16 port elite mail with flash drive that has over 700 hours of storage.
