can ayone tell me if the DX7NA-12TXH phone will work on a dsx80 system

Yes, But only IF there is a DS2000 card in the system. It will not work on a DSX station card

 82795 !!! I can't anwer your question but the DSX 40/80/160 22 button set is a DX7NA-22TXH Just opened a box and read the part number off the set. the customer has DX7NA-22TXH phones and they work great,but they also have the DX7NA-12TXH. I WILL HAVE TO LOOK AT CARD TO SEE WHAT TYPE IT IS. THE PHONES SAY SYSTEM STARTING UP ON DISPLAY

That is what will happen if a phone that is not supported by that port, when plugged into the system.
If they really want to reuse th DS2000 phones You can install A DS2000 station card in the system but Your capacity will be to 16 DSX phones and 16 DS phones in a 4 slot cabinet. Also the DS series DSS and intramail will not work on the DSX.
