A customer of ours recently took over a site with a 384i system and is having it powering in and out. I had a local tech go out and look and has given me an alarm log: Status error ringer source and status error power source. also says slt 00 prt 00. The site is out of town but i know that it is 2 cabinets, I do have the documentation on it. From this log that the tech gave me, would it be the main power supply going bad and the ringer generator is affected? Any insight would be appreciated so that i can get him the parts he needs. THANKS!

Have you checked the power coming from the UPS or wall first? Could just be a bad UPS.

I just talked to the tech and he states that the UPS is ok and that was the 1st thing he checked?

I would replace the UPS just for testing. I have run across quite few of them that appear fine then for whatever reason power down and then a few minutes later after getting a decent charge back in work flawlessly until the next time. Also make sure the UPS has no surge suppressing power strip plugged into it they draw a load and can cause UPS to deplete unnecessarily.
