Is it required to replace the power supplies when do an upgrade from the 384i to 384i?

Don't think so... but why are you replacing with obsolete equipment? You can use iSeries phones with an Aspire system...

Yes you will have to replace the main power supply as the 704i requires more power to tun the cards.
