Hi guys, just installed our first xn120 the day after the 2 day course and we're struggling a bit trying to get trunk to trunk call forwarding working. The install is basic, 2 analogue lines and 4 digital extns. When customer leaves for the evening they want to fwd both lines to a mobile. I tried using "Call Fwd all immediate" to "off premise" but this only works if the call was initiated internally which works great, but when you dial in on any line it just rings the group of 4 extns. I know there are issues when doing trunk to trunk with analogue lines locking up, but I just need to know:
1. Can it be done ?
2. How ?

If I'm not mistaken, the XN120 is the UK version of the Aspire. With the Aspire, you can do a "Trunk-to-Trunk" forwarding using the service code 835, followed by the trunk port (e.g., trunk 1 = 001), select the time mode (e.g., 2 = night), then enter the number to be forwarded to, then [HOLD]. The Aspire programming is:
11-10-06, 11-10-07, 11-10-08, 20-06-01, 20-07-05, 24-04-01.

However, that is my least favorite way of forwarding.

The BEST way to do achieve after hours call forwarding is to utilize the telephone company's "call forwarding" feature....... the customer has to subscribe to it on a per line basis.....

locally, here, when I want to forward my office number to my cell phone, I press line 1, dial the telco's call forwarding code: *72, then dial my cell. When I answer my cell phone, the call forwarding is activated.

Is it possible to program a key to invoke call divert for BT star services. For example *21*mobile number#. When I tried this the system would not store the # character. Is there a way around this ??

You should be able to enter any of the digits 0 -9 as well as # and *. Use the MIC key to enter a pause, and FLASH key to enter a flash.
