I am trying to figure out how to allow a caller who has reached someones Voice Mail to dial a single digit and have it call that person's cell phone. This is Intramail on an Aspire system.
What I have done so far, (and it only worked one time whout of several tests)is to assign a speed dial bin as an unscreened transfer from a specific dial action table.
For instance, if the next call routing mailbox for an Intramail mailbox is number 2, I have assigned to that call routing mailbox dial action table 2. When the caller presses a 1 after the voice mail greeting, the dial action table is supposed to perform an unscreened external transfer to to a speed dial bin programmed with the speicific cell phone number.
It does get as far as getting a trunk and dial tone, but except for one time, it never dials the speed dial number. I wonder if I might be just missing one little thing.
If anyone has any experience setting up a feature of this type, I would sure appreciate some input.

In your speed dial bin, did you include a 9 to grab an outside line? Try preceeding the telephone number with a "pause".
Your entry in the dial table... is the speed dial bin preceeded with the # ?

You will also have to turn on "trunk-to-trunk" transfer (Tandem trunking)for all lines ... unless you are using the telco's "call transfer" feature... in which case you need to program a flash in your speeddial bin

I've had success with action: UTRF and data: #2xxxPP where xxx is the speed dial bin number. I think the vm ports also should have COS of 14. You don't need a 9 in the speed dial.

Thanks gang - I will check that out and see if I have all those items programmed correctly.
Just a quick question in case anybody knows. I wonder whay the speed dial bins are 4 digit numbers, and the programming for a spped dial as a UTRF in Intramail is only 3 digits?

I've asked that same question, the 3 and 4 digits, but have yet to get a straight answer. May be a moot point soon with the new system coming out no?
