Do you have the remote access switch on the CPU turned on?

I had this problem on a 2000ips not so long ago, the modem is built in to the cpu. We ended up replacing the cpu and loaded the database back in to it. This fixed the problem. Hopefully you don't have to do this as it was a bit of mucking around to get the database to take to the new cpu.
cheers!

Thanks you all, the headache is that I have to buy the cpu card and all other softwares diskettes: 256 ports,CCIS, CID...and that will cost us alot. I prefer to forget about the remote programming feature, as the cpu is working just fine for all other features...
