I have a DSX 80 that is intermittently not seeing DTMF. I appear to have very "hot" incoming lines. I have adjusted the sidetones and recieve gains and to the point where they currently are set to short and -11. This has not alleviated the problem at all and has only served to lower the volume on outside calls.

Any body else run into this or have a solution?

I had that same problem a while ago. The sidetone was really high so I adjusted the gains, but that affected the dtmf being detected by the AA. We upgraded that site to the latest version and it fixed the problem, hopefully that's all you'll have to do. The latest is 2.11.

It came out this week on the 3rd along with a new version of the Administrator.

I'll try bumping it up to that and see if it clears the problem up.

Any idea of what is changed in the latest version?

Bumped it to 2.14. No change.

Although I now have noticed that the incoming line level appears to be changing in volume all on it's own.

And the local provider is of no help. So now I'm looking for a way to smooth out the line level.

Any thoughts?
