To begin, I'm not going to pretend like I know anything about the NEC or Aspire, I'm a Nortel, Avaya & ESI guy. But a customer of mine bought another office that has an existing NEC Aspire in it that they need me to make a couple (seemingly) simple changes on that I was hoping someone could help me on. I have searched everywhere for a manual to no avail, so here I am.
Question 1: They used to have 5 lines, now they have 4, whenever they pick up the phone it tries to grab line 5, how do I remove line 5 as a prime line?
Question 2: I think I'm getting even easier here, the phone numbers that display on a selected line are incorrect, how can I go about changing them? To clarify, someone named the lines with the phone number so when they press line 1 for example it says the wrong phone number.
Thanks for your help.

1) Change the order of the trunk group priority in program 14-05 for that group
2) Change the name of each trunk in prg 14-01-01.
That should solve your 2 problems.
