I posted a thread in the installers forum & confused everyone, I think.
Let's try it in here, shall we?
THESE SYSTEMS ARE NOT CCIS TOGETHER, by the way...I think that's what everyone thought.
Both sites do have a.t.&t. PRI's, btw...
The problem:
My customer has their main office in Indianapolis, Indiana. They have a NEAX 2000. They can send multi-page faxes over their main fax machine to anywhere via an analog port, no problem.
We set up a Multi-Tech FF200 (Fax Server) in their Houston office via DID to analog ports on their IPK I. They cannot recieve multi-page faxes from Indy. However, Indy can send multi-page faxes to the Houston office's POT'S fax machines. Houston can receive multi-page faxes via the Multi-Tech FF200 from anywhere else, including their Baton Rouge office ( PRI service ) & our office (again, PRI service )
Weird, huh?
We have looked at all the usual suspects including, moving the Indy fax machine to a pots line, works OK. When we move it back to the 2000, we only get page one.
We have conferred with Multi-Tech tech-support & tried lowering the baud rate in the FF200..problem remains...
Our Neax 2000 tech is stumped as well as the Indy site's vendor......I am just the key system "expert" ( according to my bosses )!
We are open to all & any suggestions, again, we have tried everything we can think of.
Thanx in advance to all you NEC expert's!
