Anyone have exper on WIN systems, the new ones?
We Are looking at becoming a dealer.
I did a few 100D's but other than that know little about them, but htey appear to have a great product now. TKs in advance!!!

My expierence with WIN has been very negative, albeit from an outsiders stand point. The few businesses that I have run across have not been satisfied with the product and are disappointed that they only have a choice of one vendor. WIN limits it's dealerships so there is not any competition from other dealers, which for some customers is not a positive point.

I have only worked on a few of them and the owners really didn't care for them for the same reasons as Z-man posted. Don't know much about the new ones though, I understand they changed them.

Installed two system for another company as subcontractor. Both replaced within six months. The CPU keep crashing, and the phones lockup system from any static discharge. One has Norstar and the other has Magic.
If all else fails, use a BFH.

I am certified on the new WINs. The new line is the 440ct. Nice system, not to much difference from the older 100D's. More capacity, newer style phones, PRI capibility.
Easy to program, VERY FLEXIBLE.

I worked at a company in Massachusettes that only installed WIN systems. They do all the municipalities there. All the ones that I worked with generally worked well. Not a lot of equipment failures or anything so...The company still installs them today.
