I have been able to connect to the Elite 192 VMS card through the CoSessions software. I can navigate through all of the options expect the sign in. The notes that I have read were that the password for that was ********. ******** does not work. Could that have been changed? Is there a way to 'reset' it?
note: please refrain from postin passwords in open forum

To reset the main login password you have to have an authorized dealer contact NEC and they will have to dial in and reset it for you. They will charge you for this.
If there is another user on the system that is setup as an Admin on the system you could log in with their user ID. EXAMPLE: user 100 is a system admin, then in the co-sessions login screen log in as: 9100 , then enter the password for mailbox 100's password.

Of course... I tried voicemail admin through extension 100. It does not appear to be the admin extension. It goes right into the voicemail without any password and no options for mgmt. I am going to try the other extension, one by one. This could take awhile.

I think the reset from NEC is less than $200.
Depends on what your time is worth I guess...

$200 for a system that cost me less then $500, lol. Go figure.
Although it does sound as if I am out of luck here though...

Is there any way to reset that password through a direct connect to the system with the IPK software?

Well I am getting closer! I found the login id, now I need to find the security code. Blah!
Is the BRU utility to be found anywhere? Is it available by download?
