I am programming a system for 2 companies that are in one building. These companies are basically the same company (1 company with 2 company names ) The cust wants the two companies to share a single ipkII with inmail. They want to assign 2 vm ports to company A and 2 to company B. They want to have 2 trunks go to the auto attendant for company A, and 6 trunks go to auto attendant with a seperate greeting for company B. Would this be done by setting a seperate dept group for company B with a different pilot number and dil the trunks to it. Any help advice is greatly appreciated.

I can't think of a reason to split the InMail ports as your suggesting. Just point company A's lines to one Answer Table 1 and Company B's lines to Answer Table B. If you go to www.ipk2stuff.com you can download a cheatsheet for the inmail / VM8000.
