I have installed a ipkII system with inmail. This system is using the new dt300 seris phones. After programming as usual I noticed the message key will not access the extensions voicemail. I have always used this key for the extension users access to their voicemail. Does anyone know how to make message key work with the new style phones, or if not how would I program a function key to do this feature. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Speaker, 751, the button, 01, the InMail pilot number then hold.
I have not tried a DT300 series on an IPK II yet, however, on the SV8100 with version 2.0, NEC added a VMmsg softkey because prgramming a button for the Inmail pilot did not give you auto mailbox login, but, you got it with the UM8000.

You could also do SPKR 751 , the button, 77 and your own ext #
This will access your mailbox when pressing, BUT will light this button when you have msgs, not the big lamp in the corner of the set.

Try making a type 01 DSS button with the code in MB 11.12.51 "Call Own mailbox" programmed in it.. This will act like te old MSG button on the i series fones for mailbox access..
