Are there people that have experience with the SV8100 and Unified Messaging? here in Holland we are still waiting for it and i want to know what to expect when it is finally released.
like is setting up UM a lot of work?
are a lot of licenses needed when installing a standard UM setup?

We have had bad experiences with the Activevoice UM plugin for their voicemails on Elites and IPK2 susyems using OS2, LX mails. Usually desktop problems and most have been pulled out after a couple of months. However in saying that we had a dealer last week put in 60 UM clients on a new site with a SV8100. Apart from a minor problem it went sweet so maybe AV got theit plugin right this time.
You will need UM licenses per desktop client and a copy of the latest desktop plug it. Have a read of the UM8000 or the LX mail documentation for installation methods.

We have had pretty good experiences with the VMM on the IPK II & the SV8100 platforms.
