Here is the scenario: IPK II 4 port Elitemail During inclement weather, I need to remotely access the system and configure it to forward calls to external lines.
I have set up a CAR Key and CF/A to my cell. I then dialed into the VM and set my ext to transfer to the CAR key. During testing, it would do a transfer but after 10 - 15 secs I get a message "The number you have dialed has not been recognized." But when I dial the CAR directly, it transfers the call to my cell.
What am I missing?
Thanks Dana

In your Elite Mail, do you have a transaction box built for the CAR key with "Transfer to Extension" = Yes ??
Do the incoming trunks terminate (DIT) to your extension?

There is only one transaction box built and it is the default.
Second question, I would say No. I looked at 3-42 and there is no number there

Let's make sure the mailbox associated with that CAR key has the transfer setting to Y > X & release.
