Need to know if it is Vmail or AA (VRS). If it is voice mail, check and see what the trunks are DIT to in MB 3-42 for day mode. I typicaly send them to a Call Arrival Key, which rings on certain phones. If it is a CAR (call Arrival) check call forward settings on it.

Create a block of CAR keys in MB 1-2-04, then assign ext. number to new CAR port, in 4-10. Then assign this in line key programming 4-12 for the extensions that need to ring. Assign ringing for this key in 4-37. Then DIT trunks to the CAR ext you created. Phones should now ring. Call fwd busy/no ans the CAR key to your VMail pilot (spkr 45 XXX to VMail Pilot), and you should be set.

You can also use MB 3-42 DIT for day mode and then in MB 4-1 assign delayed ringing to your pilot voicemail number. Then set MB 1-1-77 to the desired time for 6 or 7 rings (36-42 sec). This can be done assuming delayed ringing is not being used elsewhere on the system requiring a different timer length.

If MB 3-43 is set to go to voicemail, and there is no delayed ringing programed in MB 4-2, calls will be answered on first ring in night mode.

Check MB4-1 for your voice mail pilot extension. Make sure the line keys are lit red, not green. This will provide "delayed ringing" to the voice mail.... so that the stations ring first, then if no answer, delay ring to voice mail for pick up.
