Hello,
I am using Nec 2000 IPS pbx with cpu 24 and ver 12 software. My question is:
Is it possible to dump the smdr data from the AP00 or the main CPU cards? If yes ..what is the command used?

there is an enitre cheet sheet of programming that can be found on the NECNTAC website regarding this.

You can dump SMDR from the CPU or from the AP00. If you use the CPU, you will lose the function of the built in modem.

Start at CM D000 and look through the command manual, or look in the feature guide to programming for SMDR. All the commands are listed right there.

Thank you for your reply.
The NECNTAC website is password protected, and because of being from outside USA or Canada, I do not qualify to have access.
Any way of getting help !!!!

Here is a copy/paste of the cheet sheet..........................................................................

This Tech Note is to advise installation personnel of a change in programming for the new SPN-AP00-B MRC (AP) card for the NEAX 2000 IVS2. The SPN-AP00-B card is not equipped with a Resident SMDR program as was incorporated in the SPN-AP00-A card. This Tech Note will provide a programming example of basic SMDR programming.

Basic SMDR with AP00-B on RS 0

The following steps for SMDR are intended to provide the installer a quick reference guide for programming SMDR on AP00-B’s RS 0 port. Not all options are covered in this example. Refer to Feature Programming Guide for additional options and parameter settings.

1.) CM 05, Y= 0 > Sense Wheel setting number > 04
2.) Put AP00-B in Off-line mode. SW1 positions 1 & 4 ON, 2 & 3 OFF.
3.) CM D101 > 0000 > CCC
4.) Put AP00-B in On-line mode. SW1 all positions ON.
5.) Reset MP
6.) CM D001 > 20 > 5 (9600 baud)
7.) CM D001 > 21 > 0 (1 stop bit)
8.) CM D001 > 22 > 1 (8 data bits)
9.) CM D001 > 23 > 0 (no parity)
10.) CM D001 > 80 > 4 (SMDR)
11.) CM D001 > 81 > 0 (1st priority)
12.) CM D001 > 82 > 3 (2400 format)
13.) CM D001 > 83 > 0 (N/A)
14.) CM D001 > 84 > 1 (free wheel)
15.) CM D001 > 85 > 48 (SA)
16.) CM D001 > 86 > 33 (UA)
17.) CM D003 > 29 > 1~1000 for no memory card, 1~27000 with memory card
18.) Put AP00-B in Off-line mode. SW1 positions 1 & 4 ON, 2 & 3 OFF.
19.) CM D102 > 0000 > CCC
20.) Put AP00-B in On-line mode (SW1 all positions ON) and initialize AP00-B
21.) CM D016 > XX16 > 1 (outgoing SMDR for C.O. lines)
22.) CM D016 > XX21 > 1 (outgoing SMDR for Tie Lines)
23.) CM D016 > XX30 > 1 (incoming SMDR for C.O./Tie Lines if required)
24.) CM D027 > 0000~0009 > 9 (send to SMDR)
25.) CM D034 > 0000~0009 > 11 (local call)
26.) CM D000 > 70 > 1 (incoming SMDR if required)
27.) CM D000 > 77 > 1 (tandem SMDR if required)
28.) CM D000 > 79 > 1 (incoming & outgoing record on tandem SMDR if required)
29.) CM D000 > 238 > 1 (allow display of year)
30.) CM 13, YY=05 > Sta. No. > 0 (incoming SMDR by station if required)
31.) CM 13, YY=06 > Sta. No. > 1 (outgoing SMDR by station if required)
32.) CM 35, YY=14 > Rt. No. > 1 (outgoing SMDR by trunk route if required)
33.) CM 35, YY=49 > Rt. No. > 0 (incoming SMDR by trunk route if required)
34.) CM 08 > 040 > 0 (tandem SMDR if required)

Thanks a lot doghart, I finally got the Ap00 working....BUT only 1605 calls were displayed, and it stopped showing any more calls...I cleared out the calls using CM D102 and it started displaying the calls again, AND again it stopped at the count of 1588 calls...
Any idea to solve this issue??

is your SMDR dumping out to a call accounting software or PC with hyperterminal, or are you just connecting and dumping call data when you're there?

There is a buffer on the AP card and it sounds like it is getting full....

If you are constantly dumping the calls to a PC the buffer should never fill up.

I am using a wintariff software, and it is permananetly connected to the pbx. even though the dumping process stops after display ~1600 calls.

Try Downloading a trial version of PABXsoft. This will eliminate the software from being the issue.

I am using the Wintariff software for the last 5 years in more than 200 diferent types of pbxs most of them are NEC. I am sure that the issue is not caused by the calls collecting software...it is the setting of the AP00 because when I use the MP built-in smdr method...the calls are all the time displayed and never stop.
Any way thank you for your post, at least I knew about your said PABXsoft.
