I have set up an ARS table on a UX 5000 to route long distance (1+ and 0+ calls) to an outbound T1 trunk group, and local calls to the local analog line trunk group.
I can't seem to figure out how to set up the rule for having a 1-800 number go to the local analog trunk instead of the T1.
I tired having the system analyze the numbers starting with 1800, but that didn't work. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Still trying to figure this one out. I was wondering if my 1 + rule is too simple and may be overriding the ability to select the 1800 route?
I wish I knew more about the logic in the way the ARS works, but the manual seems a bit sparse to me.

Do you need to build a table that says take 1-800, 1-877, 1-888 and the one other to your analog trunk numbers then build a set with 1-8@@ to the t-1?

I'll give that one a try.
Thanks - I will post back with results.

As promised, I am posting my final results. Crisco3, your advice was pretty close to what I needed to do - thank you! My actual setup was pretty complex, as I have a 4-site Cygnilink setup sharing an outbound T1 toll circuit at the Primary site, and needing to route local and toll free calls to the analog trunks at each site.
I ended up with an ARS table of 80 entries to make this all happen correctly. It seems that the key issues for me were in understanding the proper sequencing of the entries, and the specific details of the entries. I had initially attempted to do this with too many wildcards in the the entry, and it just didn't work right.
I got some good input from NEC engineering, but their suggested solutions didn't pan out either. Finally, I just played with settings on my shop system until I came across a combination that worked. Once I found it, it sort of made sense to me.
