NEC will not be making any more Aspire components after Sept 30/09. Components will still be available until they are out of stock.

Chris,
NEC announced end of life for the Aspire as 9/30/09. That is the day they will stop selling complete systems but I believe parts will be available for 5 years from that date.

Well, seeing that they offered a five year warranty on systems sold less than two years ago, I fully expect to be able to purchase add ons and repair parts for years to come.

As part of NEC UBSD contracts, Dealers have access to replacement parts and new parts (at a higher price though) for 5 years after EOL
