Trying to program the 8 one touch buttons on my phone. It's a NEC DTP-81-1. IT Dept sent a manual that says press function key, press desired SD button, (speaker button will light), enter number, press function again. Problem is .... it doesn't work on my phone. The speaker light doesn't come on, and when entering the number it thinks I'm dialing a call. Does anyone have this phone manual and/or know how to make this work?

Try 'conf, button to be set, enter desired number 9+, conf. If that does nor work you need speed dial allocation in cm73 & maybe cm94. Hope this helps.
