Has any one got SIP trunks working behind a NAT? I can get numerous carriers working when I use a routed Internet IP addresses (one IP for the IPLA & another IP for the DSP resource…10-12-09 & 84-26-01 no NAT’ing used). Once I put the SV8100 behind NAT & enable NAPT ( 10-12-06 & 07 ) & change the IP address of course the system modifies the Payload to reflect the WAN IP address for both registration of the SIP trunk & responding to INVITE requests ( incoming calls ok ) , but as soon as I try to make an out going call the SIP trunk gives me busy tone & watching the Ethernet not one INVITE packet is sent from the system as if it didn’t even happen!
Has NEC broken the NAPT function?
