Hello,

I need some help putting together a standard formula that allows me to offer a phone system maintenance agreement. If anyone would like to share the formula used or even the verabge for their maintenance agreement it would be greatly appreciated :read:

Do a "Search" for "maintenance". Better yet, send a PM to BrianS...he literally wrote the book on it.

Thanks for the quick response. I searched for "maintenance" under the search feature and did not find a specif formula mentioned. I will now move on to step number 2 and contact BrianS. Again thanks for the advice.

I did see the verbage for a maintenance agreement but I am also looking for a formula on how to come up with dollar amount for each maintenance agreement.

To answer this question many folks use a very simple 1% rule for small systems. It is much easier than counting ports and what not. If a system sells for $3000 installed then $30 per month or 1% normally works. Vary it up or down according to specific situations. This is all explained in the manual but because you asked here is one of the things in it. Hope to help you. Brian

Can someone help me I need to put a maintenance contract together. The customer has a nortel sytem and they want me to give them a service maintenance contract.
