Hello all,
I have a customer with a IPK and ACD. They had the server, monitor and admin all on one pc, also using as her work station. I talked them into getting the server on its own pc.
I loaded the client program on the work station.I removed from her startup the server, since we did that she can't retrieve any reports before the date we did the move. If I did a search on her work station, does anyone now the file type or name I would search for?

rickman,
Silly question - which program are you talking about. The monitor, admin or the server.

I have a new question - They have a rtd usb key on the server, the server is only seeing 3 clients.

any thoughts?

Well, That may or May not Had been a Silly Question. The Assumtion is he would answer with what he is trying to Connect with. With that Being said, Perhap's you should answer the First Question before Asking another. I'm not trying to be Arguementative,Just trying to help out.

Did you copy the ACD info databases from the old server to her PC?? They are from memory in a Access database format.

Was the ACD a ACDPlus or one using a MIFA card? If the MIFA version was the software installed on her PC an upgrade from the software on the server. Unlikely though being a IPK1 system.

She logs into the monitor program from her pc, links up with the new stand alone server. All graphs come up with active agents and calls. When she goes into reports and enters the date(any date before we set up the stand alone server), comes back with no data found. Her pc was the server before we set up the stand alone server. On her pc the only thing I did regarding the server was to take it out of the startup.
I hope thats the answer you were looking for.

paulw,
It's a vmp-u40 with 2.8 server software
When I loaded the software on the stand alone server we just started from scratch.
They only have 5 agents

Ok it's a ACD+. Did you copy over the old ACD databases from her old server directories to the new server?? I suspect that is why she can't see anything. (But I could be wrong.)

From memory they should live in the old server directory.
There should be a directory structure on the old server that looks like this
C:\Program Files\Elite ACD Plus Suite
have a look in there and see if you can see the old databases. If you can copy them to the same location on the new server.

Unfortunately I don't have a ACD Plus running here to be exactly sure but after I installed the server software this was the only ACD+ directory created.

Good luck.
