Customer with IPK II and DID's wants to point a DID to several phones (via CAR / Virtural Ext), then after hours have that DID call forwarded off prem to the east coast office.

I'm thinking this can be done using night-mode programming (which I've always found to be a bit of a dog with the various tables to set up).... however, he may want the DID to be forwarded at times during the day when he can't put the system in night mode, only that particular DID.

Is there a simple way to accomplish this? I know in the later versions of the Elite software I could simply Call Forward a CAR key.

Any easy suggestions?

I am doing that exact scenario with one of my law offices here.

Day Mode: Their main 800 # rings via DID to a virtual on multiple phones.

Night Mode: the same DID is pointed to a different virtual that is fwd all offsite to an answering service.

Sometimes they will leave the office and use service code 790 to cfd-all the day mode virtual to the ans service.

If your trunks are in a timer class remember to set 20-31-19 to be long enough to not cut off your calls.

I guess I was given some bad information regarding call forwarding virtuals. If I am reading you correctly, the customer can dial service code 790 and forward the virtual extension off site?

This would be the answer.

yes, 790 allows you to cfd another station (virtual or standard) from your phone.
