I am going to try and clone my VMS hard drive. I have heard there have been issues with the system reverting back to 2 ports. Is it possible to locate the activation code that is currently active so I can reactivate it after the cloning if necessary?

That Happen's on the VMS 8 Port, it will Revert to 4 Port's If it's a VMS 4 There shouldn't be a Problem. Are You going to Replace the Hard Drive?

Yes - replacing hard drive - or at least have a backup hard drive. The current one is original - been running for 10 years.
