Can anyone walk me through setting up caller id to be unblocked for out going calls on an Electra Elite IPK II with webpro.
Right now when people call out of the system, it shows up as "no caller id" or "unknown."
Thanks

doghart:
I'm a newbie with this stuff so I don't know the lingo very well.
But, we have a designed service T1 from Qwest (DS1). I don't know if that is considered a PRI-T1?

There's two types of T-1 circuit for voice on the NEC product.
A pri t-1 will support caller ID via the ISDN D-channel.
A standard t-1 typically will not do Caller ID.

Thank you,
I finally got a hold of someone at qwest that could actually answer my question instead of just transferring me endlessly.
You were right doghart, we don't have a PRI. We are going to evaluate getting one.
Thanks again.
