Hello, Installing a DS2000. I have all 6 extentions working however I can not Get the trunk lines to ring on the selected keys I have programmed on the phones. I only have 2 trunk lines. Key 1 assigned to trunk 1 but nothing. I have set the extentions to ring day and night. Very simple set up. They are to ring on all phones and when someone wants outside line they must select line 1 or line 2 by the line keys... any help please.

Are you able to see the calls ringing in on the line keys? If so, can you answer the calls by pressing the line key when it lights?
Check 1803 for Full Access 1805 for Ring Day/Night (It sounds like you have this one) 1003 for a Ring Destination of Key Ring with overflow to extension 700.

Hello, I can not see line 1 or 2 keys ringing at all. I even can not see any activity on the trunk card when I ring in from an outside phone

you say "when someone wants outside line they must select line 1 or line 2 by the line keys.." so I assume you have dial-tone to call out on these keys
when you call in to line one or two can you press the line key and answer ?
have you verified the correct lines are going to the system ?

Double check your wiring to the 8 pin connector. Blue pair trunk 1, orange trunk 2, green trunk 3, brown trunk 4.
Confirm your not mistaken a ASTU (analog station)card for the ATRU (analog trunk)

Did you make you own cable or purchase the NEC cable?
