Does anyone know of a good resourse to recycle our out of service junk, I hate just throwing it in a land fill.

You can probably take some stuff (metal, wire, circuit boards) to a scrap yard.

Check to see if there is a "E-cycle" in your state. This is the site I take eveything electronic:

We have a section at our local land fill for compt and tel stuff and a recycling place picks it up once a month, have you asked or called them?

E-cycle services......or Ebay/Craigs List.

I just posted own in Avaya mentioning that i had some out of service Partners cards and cabinets and phones. I know when somone is trying to get rid of some old out dated equipment it is some times easier to look in the Mart catalog and places like that to find some buyers for equipment. But i wanted to post on here about it since interconnect companies appreciate having equipment on hand for the time when you do not expect it you never know what you will need until you need it.

And don't forget that 1A2 stuff can almost always find a home. It used to be plentiful, but now people fight over it on the bay thing!
