Hi All, fitted a NEC iad IP card to NEC ipk2 system. The problem is very bad noise and crackle on the speech path. I'm using a ITH-8-2P phone, and calling up a digital DTR phone.
Any ideas?

Sounds more like a phone issue, have you tried a different phone?
We get old too soon, smart too late

Yes, tried a couple of phones, but still had same problem. I must add that I'm by no means an expert on this system, so it could be the way I've installed or programmed the card. I followed the instructions sheet, but it took a while to get the machine to recognise the card, it wasn't in the drop down list, but it gets signed on as a different card. I'm probably doing something stupid, but need a bit of guidence.
