I have an Elite IPK and a VMS(2)-U30 with a bad hard drive. Ordinarily I wouldn't have a problem buying a replacement HDD, or upgrading to flash based VMS, but I had planned on upgrading to a Univerge system after the first of the year and really don't want to invest too much into my IPK.
Is there a cheap/easy way to get the VMS card working again? I really don't even care about the voice mail at this point, but I would like the auto attendant to be able to answer after hours (right now, incoming callers just get a fast busy, which sounds like the number is no longer in service).
I do have a spare notebook hard drive I could use, but the old drive is not readable at all (so I cannot ghost from the old to 'new' drive).
Any suggestions?

If The Hard Drive is Unreadable,The Only thing you can do is buy a Cheap Answer Machine and Have A tech wire a Single Line Jack at The Front Desk with Line One Untill You Replace The System. Or Hire a Answering Service and Call Forward Your Line's Every Night. You can also see If Your Provider Provide's Call Note's.
