Okay, so I am installing a 8100 with InMail. I am testing notification and it works great. This question came up during training. How do you delete the notification number. I can turn notification off but how do you clear the number or put it back to ( Null ) like any other mailbox that has not used notification. I clear it in user programming but nothing. I Undefine the mailbox in 47-02 and put it back to Personal but the number is still there. Not that big a deal but when they ask it would be nice to have an answer.

Happy Holidays!!!

The InMail system guide describes access to manage the notification parameters like this.

Access the subscriber mailbox
dial OP [67] for mailbox options
dial N [6] notification options
dial O [6] to turn notification on/off
or
dial C [2] change notification
At 'Notification begin'
press * to skip
At 'Notification end'
press * to skip
At 'Notify via'
press * to skip
At 'Number'
you should be able to enter/change or 'clear' the number here.

"Clear" comes up in the Soft Key's but not in DTMF. With that being said when I do clear it via Soft Key's it still wont default back to ( Null ) I can override it with any number but no way to clear it.
