The voicemail has been running pretty much error free for a few years. Suddenly I am not able to add new mailboxes from the web interface or the phone. When I try on the phone, I login to mgr options, checkbox, enter the extension, it says doesnt have a mailbox would you like to add, press 1 and instead of a confirmation it skips to 'would you like to change another mailbox?' When I try through the web interface, it get a crazy sql error message (below)
--- Warning: SQL error: [unixODBC][MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-3.23.41]Got error 127 from table handler, SQL state S1000 in SQLExecDirect in /var/www/php/get_put/add_subscriber.php on line 172

I am assuming you have rebooted the unit. Errors/logs & other stuff can cause the system to run funky. I call NTAC & they remote in & fix it for me. I cannot tell you what they do, but it has worked for me.

It appears to be a database error. I'm not sure if the LX has any database fix tools built-in. You may need NTAC to solve this one.

Looked back thru my emails and found a similar problem in 2007. Basically I suspect that the SQL database has trashed it's self. I had to send the mail back for a rebuild..

I had to send the mail back for a rebuild.. Agreed, but there are some DB repair commands you can enter directly from the linux command prompt. Had NTAC walk me through this when I had some mailboxes that could not be deleted.... been fine ever since. D
