In a jam. I was called in to help another former Marine program an NEC IPK II. I have programming back ground, just not NEC. All I need to do today is figure out how to get into programming mode (followed manual, didn't even come close); change off hook line select preference from CO 6 to CO 3 and program CO 1-3 to appear and ring at all stations. I couldn't find a default / reinitialize portion in the manual. Can anyone give me a quick cheat sheet until I can further read the manual?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks you,
SCott

Scott,
Your topic heading shows IPK, in your question you have IPK II, please confirm what system you have. Programming wise they are completely different.

Easy on an IPK for tech of any level, not so easy for first timer on IPKII.

Just found out from the vendor that sold the system to my friend that it IS NOT an IPK II, Only basic IPK.

Did you assign ringing to each extension in MB4-01 and 4-02. Line keys 1 -3 should be lit green on all ports(extensions) you want to ring.

I did. Late last night (this am) I went back and the program didn't save. I did it again. Still didn't save. I'm hitting transfer after I get done with lk4 1&2 for each port. It does, however, show co lines ring at default ports 00/01 (sta 12 and 13)
I'm going back tonight. Any clue as to why it is not saving?
