I have a Nec Electra elite 48 that has 4 lines the first 3 lines pickup fine the 4th line voice mail pickups up when there is no answer but when they are on the line it beeps in as call waiting but the voice mail never pickups. what can I do please???

Set memory block 4-42 to no (LK 1) for all ports, and verify call forwarding is set.

Determine which ports are voice mail ports. Then in MB 4-1 for each voice mail port, ensure each line key is lit up red (lines 1 -4) for delay ring to VM. In MB 4-2 (night ring), ensure each vm port is lit green for immediate pick-up in "Night Mode".

I tried both and still no voicemail pickup when on the line it just rings.

Check MB.4-13 and 4-15 Make sure that last port of Voice Mail is in there.

Has anyone put a buttset on the last line to determine if this is a telco problem??
