I though you could program names for stations on ext 300 but could not. So I looked all through the manual and just could not believe I couldn’t program a simple name change. I have change names before but have been awhile. (Love that DSX pc programming.)
If you say you don't know you will get more respect.

pg 139 , Multi button phone feature Handbook To program a name for a co-worker’s extension: You must have Access Level 4 or 5 to do this. 1. At a 22- or 34-Button Display Telephone: Press + + + . At a Super Display Telephone: Press + . 2. When you see EXT:3xx, enter the number of the extension you want to program + HOLD.

Name programming must be turned on in "Class of Service". Typically, out of the box, station 300 has the option to do this.
At 300: Press the PGM softkey, press More twice, then "Name".
