I know Nortel and Avaya, but I have been asked by church member to help out with their "new" phone system. They have been given a NEC Electra Elite IPK II, they only have 2 lines, and 4 phones. I have programming info but NOT hardware info, nothing labeled, I just need to cross connect 2 lines into system, but do not know where. They have a CO card in the 3rd slot, what pins, what amphenol connector for this ? Thanks

Rickman, Thanks for the reponse. Slot 1 has ESIE-8 (looks like a piggyback card on it also), slot 2 is empty, slot 3 (B4-U10 ETU), slot 4 (NEC 180365-001, DTI U40).Slot 5,6,&7 are empty. Slot 8 Elite Mail (which will not be used)
I just want to be able to add 2 C.O. lines into the system, where they can make and receive calls

You will need a COI or COID card in that system. It is currently configured for PRI or T1. Are you sure the card in slot 4 reads B4?

BTECH is Right, DTI Card is for PRI or T-1, You Need a COID (For Caller ID) or COI in order to put Copper Lines on Your System. In Slot 1 That is an ESIB and The Piggy Back Card is an ESIE the Mod Plugs on the Front of the Card are for 8 More Stations making it an 16 Port Card.
