When I am setting up a VPN. On a Edge Water Router 4500.
The router comes up with an error, When I set it up. " Configuration Error: invalid protected local network (must be net/mask or net/bits)". When I put in (under protected local network)10.10.10.0/255.255.255.0 it will not fit.

You don't put in the subnet mask after the /. It is asking for the network range.

Like 10.10.10.0/16 or 10.10.10.0/24 ?

Yes,for both sides and it will go from Olive green up top to Lime green when its connected right on both sides. You can call Edge they have a very knowledable website with there manuals , a little hard to find stuff but these routers are pretty strong. You can easily setup some NAT rules for allot of apps., What System are you hooking up?
