Anybody out there have any experience with the Univerge wireless platform? I have a system connected to a UX5000 using a WL1700 controller and WL1500 access points - and it works well. I am trying to cover a specific area of a building with just a dedicated 3rd party access point - but with essentially the same settings.
The handset sees the AP, but does not connect to the network - and obviously then does not register with the SIP server on the UX5000.
Does this system have to run through one of the Univerge controllers to work? I was trying to do this one little area on the cheap............

I have MH240 working on a non WL1700 or WL1500. The issue is when i dial out or try to intercom another extension and the party answers the phone goes fast busy like there are no services available. I do have three IP Phone licenses available...
