Ok so NEC Sales told me with the APR unit I can snap into the back of a phone I have, plug it to the power source, and plug my analog phone into the adapter as well. They state the analog phone should work just fine. But it doesnt. They are unable to find any documation on this unit. There are 3 sets of switches. 2 switches have a 1 and 2 position. The 3 set is 8 on/off dip switches.
Does anyone know what needs to be done for this apr unit to work correctly with an analog phone.

What System Do You Have?
Switch Description
SW1–1 Do not use
SW1–2 A Single Line Telephone and Multiline Terminal are used
alternately.
(The Multiline Terminal and the APR-U Unit share the same
B1 channel.)
SW3–1 Sets impedance to 600Ω for devices such as modems or
facsimile machines.
SW3–2 Used for complex impedance devices such as Single Line
Telephones.

So I have the unit set on sw1-2 and sw3-2. And I get nothing? Does something in the pbx need to be programmed?

Yes, CM:1332< You have to tell the System That the APR is Connected to The DTerm.
