I just noticed that we don't have a mute button on our phones and it's not on the softkeys either. Is that something that can be added? We have NEAX 2000IPS system adn Dterm Series i phones. Thank you!

You can add as a softkey or a one-touch. Easiest to add os the one touch. CMD=AKYD.

I'm not familiar with where to add that command. Right now I have MIC and HEADS on my display and I'd like to have MUTE as well. I use Matworx 11 but am not that good with it. Can you tell me how to do it?
Thanks.

Feature 1 will usually turn on or off the little light under the "football" button. When the light is off, you're muted, at least for speakerphone.

You can add a "mute" button in CMD 9000>xxxx,xx>F0010, I believe it is (don't have the manual handy). Check your command manual under command 90,yy=00.

Also, you can assign a FAC under command 200.

(Domino, you may be thinking of a 2400IPX)

If you have MIC in the softkeys, that should toggle the microphone on or off.

I ended up contacting our phone vendor and they can't figure it out for the headset either. Handset mute is working and speakerphone mute is working but not for headset. I guess it can't be done with the headset. Thanks anyway.

Correct, mute for a headset is done through the headset itself.

On the UX5000 we programmed a button called "Microphone cutoff".

May be it is worth a shot to search for that feature in the manual.
