Here's one that has me pulling my hair out. I have an extension, x2019 (desk phone) that if not answered, forwards to x2048, a wireless DECT phone. If x2048 does not answer, it forwards to its voice mail box, which in turn auto forwards the message back to x2019's mailbox. This mailbox has desktop messaging which should show caller ID in the subject line of the email. It does, but the wrong caller ID. I then set it up where instead of leaving a message in 2048, I send it immediately to 2019's mail box. Same result. Only extensions with both desktop messaging and the forwarding to the DECT phone are affected. Extensions with desktop messaging that forward to their own mailbox are not. Note: this problem cropped up after I upgraded the voice mail from 4 to 8 ports and all calls come in on a PRI.

Maybe try delayed ringing with the wireless phone instead of fixed call forwarding?
