I know of the feature 725 which brings the music to the phone loud speaker, but this time the music is coming through the aux speaker, the one used for paging in the factory, does anyone know how to turn this off?
I don't know how this music was even turned on
Thanks

Try checking Memory block 31 - 08 for BGM on external paging

There may be a feature code for BGM.
There may also be a short from an extension to the paging horn (probably ring side).
Or, you may have an extension with a "nailed-up" connection to paging. You could clear this by resetting the system.
I once saw a similar situation on a Nortel ICS where the background music was turned on, but it ran over a twisted pair that paralleled a power cord. It was quiet until someone removed the power cord, and then suddenly came blaring through all the speakers.
Hope that helps.
