I am trying to use the Call Forward Soft Key but I can't find it. Here is the info: DSX-80, Software level 3.09 Station 300 According to the NECDSX Interactive User Guide, I should be able to push the [menu] soft key and [Cfwd] should appear but it doesn't. It displays the following:
10: Volume Preferences (blank line) Prev Next Select Exit
According to the user guide [Cwfd] should appear where [Prev] appears.
I can't adjust my softkey assignment {2124}, It is greyed out. I am connected with my laptop using system admin #3. I've been thru the software manual but I'm missing something.
Thanks for the help.

According to user guide Ver 3.0 or above.
Menu/dial 60/select.
To change cf push "select". Push "next" to scroll through type of CF.
Oh, if you are running Ver. 3.0 or above your leading extension should be sta. 301.
Check update procedures to level 3.0 to change your extension line up, as that has changed.

Thanks, I think I like the old [Cfwd] soft key better. I still have my 300 ext because I did an upgrade from 2.24. As I understand it, the ext numbers remain the same when an upgrade is done to a existing system. Thanks again for the info,

Correct, but keep in mind understanding you wanting to keep old extension series,in the future it possible could be an issue in programming other features.
