NEC can train your techs in about 2 weeks, and it's a great system to work on. See www.neccare.com for contact information, and ask how you can become an NEC associate or reseller.

Does NEC still offer 2000 training? I thought it was all SV8300 now?

They don't train on the 2000 anymore. It is an out of production product.

It all depends on a techs past experience, that will determine if this is an easy system to learn. Has the tech only installed key systems? Then there will be a learning curve. If you have a NEC 2000 Master Tech nearby (hint, hint) that would make the learning curve a lot shorter. The me know if you need any assistance, I'm in OC all the time.

Steve,
Didn't know they were still doing the master tech anymore. So hopefully someone already is master tech certified.

You did not read my response correctly. I did not imply that training was available. I just implied that there was a master tech nearby if they wanted to use those services for instruction/direction.
