Elite 192 rev 550 with a PRT1-U20. The PRI is esf,b8zs, and NI2. After several months in service we started getting all busy's. I put all channels on buttons on the switchroom phone. All lines were flashing red 60ipm. After a reset all lines go idle and release after a call but after a while the line will just start flashing like it is on hold. If you grab that line when it is like this it goes green but no DT. Idle lines will return DT and you can make a call. Telepacific has been on-site and tested the circuit and it looks fine. I have changed the PRT card and the CPU and still the same problem. Any thoughts?

Tough one, not too many settings on a PRI. You could try changing mb3-91.

If telco is willing to work with you have them change the protocol. I have seen issues like this when protocol get mis-matched. forcing telco to change to a new protocol fixed the issues, just having them verify everything always came back ok but changing it always helped. just my .02 on the matter

A famous NTAC tech is quoted as saying: "The switch is slightly slutty. Sometimes it'll work with the wrong protocol, but not very well."
So, yes, you need to verify the Telco's Protocol. NI-2 has always been the best in my experience, but the Telco doesn't always offer it that way.

I just ported a customer today to a new circuit and carrier and had this exact same issue. IPK with 2.02 software and a PRT-u20.
New carrier spent 30 minutes going through their circuit setup and found the issue.
Not sure what the resolution was, but it was on the carrier side.
