Has anybody had a problem with the side tone on the SV8100. I have had some SV8100 install's where the side tone has static as you talk while on a C.O. call. Internal is fine but when you talk on a outside line as you talk you hear static. The lines are a little hot but well within spec. It just suck's that the customer say's that they never have had a problem with the "old" system.

Have an SV8100 doing the same thing. Didn't start until system had been installed for about a month. Have checked all my CO's for any type of trouble and none found. Have referred it to our vendor, who has referred to NEC. Heard nothing from NEC yet.

I have 4-12 Button DT-330 phones, 4-port Inmail, 3-C.O. lines. No VOIP.

Has anybody come up with a solution. It seems to be happening with Time Warner. I can make it go away with Line Attenuators I bought from Sandman but was wondering if there is something in programming I can do.

Thanks

As it seems to go away with attenuators try changing the trunk trans levels in PRG14.01.02/03 and see if that helps..
