I'm having an issue when forwarding to a number outside the PBX, no ring is heard on caller side. Calling side is hearing the phone ring, but caller is hanging up because they think call isn't going through. 2400 IPX with PRI and DID numbers.

Check the PRI's ring cadence (provided by the Telco). Should be 2" on, 4" off.

Had an issue with a voicemail which was getting the wrong ring cadence over a T-1 and wouldn't answer. Had Telco change it to 2"/4" and it worked.
